Large, shady trees and parasols provided the backdrop for chatting with each other and getting to know the partners and children of colleagues a little better – an aspect which was very well received. Outdoor games for young and old, cold drinks and delicious food from the barbecue made for a wonderful celebration – so nice, in fact, that some children didn't even want to go home: "That was the best day of my life!" remarked one staff member’s daughter as she left.
