Under radiant sunshine and with a record-breaking turnout of nearly 4,000 participants, our 12 mbi runners enthusiastically completed the 2 km circuit, 23 times in total. Some even achieved personal bests! Our fastest team impressively secured 18th place - a remarkable achievement among more than 600 competing teams.
The social aspect of the 24th Wetzlar Brückenlauf was once again rather special: all entry fees supported the first German Championship in cerebral palsy football, which was held in Wetzlar the following weekend.
The evening ended on a cheerful note with burgers and good company.
