The meeting focussed on the topic of delegation. Throughout the day, the managers engaged in round table discussions on the questions of what delegation means, what advantages it offers and what challenges it can pose. 

Particular attention was paid to analysing the tasks that can actually be delegated and how they can be implemented: How can I as a manager enable my employees to take on certain tasks and the associated increase in responsibility? 

Jörg Raiber has been working at mbi for 15 years and leads a team in the area of digital platforms. He takes away important input from the management meeting: "Personally, the management meeting showed me once again how important it is to delegate and that it is important to consider what, to whom and how you should delegate."

He also recognises the clear added value for himself and the other management meetings at this year's meeting: "We talk openly about problems and issues that exist in the various areas at mbi, often recognise common ground and can support each other on site and afterwards. Mutual understanding grows and, in my view, contributes to (even) better collaboration."
