For nine weeks, the mbi team has been working hard to clock up kilometres for a good cause, and now we can celebrate:
We’ve reached our fundraising target and broken the 3,000-euro mark! In total, we’ve raised 𝟯.𝟬𝟮𝟮,𝟭𝟬 € and are rounding the total up to 𝟯.𝟱𝟬𝟬 €.
To round off this year’s charity run, we did one final lap together and jogged to a local restaurant nearby. Over burgers and lemonade, we enjoyed the view of the airfield and brought the evening to a close together.
A special highlight to round off the event was the visit this week by Ms Vaillant and Ms Hahn from the Central Hesse Paediatric Palliative Care Team to hand over the donation here in Wetzlar. We were deeply impressed by the insight into their work: their tireless commitment to children with life-limiting illnesses and their families touches us deeply. Our donation of €1,750 is intended as a small contribution to support their valuable work.
We are also supporting the Robert Enke Foundation with €1,750. Through our mbi Movement campagne, we as a company aim to set an example for greater understanding in society with regard to dealing with depression and other mental health conditions.
Although this year’s charity run has come to an end, we will of course continue to keep active outside of the event. We already have our sights set on new goals for 2027 and look forward to clocking up kilometres together once again for causes close to our hearts.
