The Setting
The Central Placement Office (ZAV) has, among others, the task to assist foreigners living in Germany who wish to return to their home country to find a job there and to help them with reintegration.
The Task
The responsible department called "Reintegration of persons from developing countries" needed a software solution to support their internal administrative procedures.
In addition the software was to allow to directly register online data from both the searching party and the offering companies.
The Solution
In co-operation with the responsible team members a software solution exactly tailored to meet the requirements was developed.
An interactive internet database at www.zav-reintegration.de provides an opportunity to search for job offers and vacancies and to register data directly on on-line forms.
By means of electronic data exchange this information is read into the computer data bank of the department and is then processed directly on the clerk´s personal computer. Depending on the inquiry, the data for the various support programmes can be reprocessed, can be published in the internet or can be forwarded to the appropriate person for a placement to be made.
The application of this software solution has entailed a more efficient and rapid processing of the inquiries. It gives the responsible team members an opportunity to devote more of their time to the actual task of finding placements.
