The R+V Versicherung AG (R+V insurance company) is one of the largest German insurance groups. Among their main clients are banks.
Insuring banks was complex. Each insurance risk (building, fire, security etc.) was coved in a different insurance class, resulting in various insurance policies per bank. As a service to the bank clients, R+V Versicherung decided to pool the different classes in one single bank insurance policy, the »R+V Bankpolice«, enhancing greater transparency and easier communication.
Together with the R+V Versicherung, mbi developed a client-server architecture. The application is available for the personal bankers (field staff) on site as well as for the office duty at the head office. Here all data is merged and processed.
The field service staff now has a modern software to easily capture all relevant insurance data. The data is transferred automatically online or via the own network to the central server in Wiesbaden, where further processing takes place.
Introduced in 2001, the »R+V Bankpolice« was continuously further developed and represents a tailor-made solution for R+V Versicherung to best possible cater to the needs of the bank clients, offering a tool to efficiently generate and manage individual insurance offers.
