Promoting student careers
As a sponsoring member of the informatics department of the Technical University Mittelhessen, we support the formation of informatics students.
In addition we offer internships and thesis positions to students, allowing them to gather practical experience.
Qualifying apprentices
Since 1999 mbi offers young people apprenticeships in the area of applied informatics and office management. The selection process for 2003 is already concluded. See Jobs for our current job opportunities.
Applied informatics apprenticeship
The normal course for applied informatics takes 3 years. Right from the beginning it is about practical experience and the use of modern technologies and tools. It is the objective to prepare the apprentices for the diverse and fast changing requirements of this innovative profession in view of a later position at mbi. The trainees are from early on involved in internal software projects and in those for customers.
Office management apprenticeship
Also as a trainee for office management the apprentices are right away involved in all internal procedures. Next to administrative issues, at mbi a focus is on the field of application software like word processing, presentation programs and spreadsheets.
Applying foreign language skills
Given the international orientation of mbi, the student staff and apprentices have particular opportunity to improve their language skills.
Inquiries on apprenticeships are welcome at personal@mbi.de.
