Commissioned by the World Bank, a monitoring and evaluation system was developed and implemented for the National Development Planning Commission (NDPC) of Ghana to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the development planning. The system allows to follow up on plan implementation and to capture impacts in a quantitative way.

Design and development of a management information system for the planning authority of Palestine. The system is used to register and administer all development projects financed by international donors.

Elaborating of a concept and development of a prototype of a national Management Information System (MIS) for the educational sector. It captures relevant indicators of the educational sector (student figures, enrolment-rates, student-teacher ratios etc.) of the different levels and can be used to carry out statistical evaluations.

NWASCO (National Water and Sanitation Council), a privately organized water regulatory body, was advised on the development of a nationwide information system. The system allows to collect and process financial, usage and accounting data for the different water providers of Zambia. The data is submitted to NWASCO and stored for centralized analysis.

The national GTZ office of Bolivia required a database to manage information on national and international experts, allowing to support development projects in their search for qualified staff and consultants. mbi developed this database as an internet solution based on the FrameTool Knowledge. An interactive internet application now serves users to comfortably register and access data of staff and experts in an efficient and decentralized way.

In the context of the "Ethio-German Technical and Vocational Education and Training Programme" an IT feasibility study was elaborated. The study mainly focuses on the options to introduce a MIS for the ministry. Another topic dealt with general aspects on how to structure the IT education in Ethiopia.

In the context of the GTZ project "Waste Water Management" the Scientific Research Council (SRC) was supported in its effort to introduce a MIS. mbi developed a concept for the technical prerequisites and the needed functionality of the system.

The national health insurance company "Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PHIC)" was supported to carry out a tender for the design and development of a MIS.
